It’s the people in our lives that matter the most

Hello Lovelies!

011815 it's the people in your life that matterA new year means an opportunity to continue to improve. I think in the past one of my issues has been that I don’t show gratitude and appreciation for those around me. All of the wonderful loved ones and friends that support me with every challenge and cheer for me with every success. Those amazing people. Do they know how important they are to me?

Perhaps not. So this year I want to not only tell them but show them. I want those special people to feel like they are loved because I sure do love them a lot. And I love you too.

You are pretty special to me. All of you that read my blog and comment when something strikes your fancy. You make me feel so very loved and in return I hope you feel the love I have for you. I have a LOT of love to go around, it’s a gift and a curse, and some of it goes to you all.

I hope to show all of you that you are special and loved. If I lost all of my beautiful purses, shoes, and clothes it wouldn’t matter. So long as I have you. (I would be a bit bummed though.)

Stay beautiful you wonderful person you!

  1. Hilary, I don’t think that you are alone when it comes to often forgoing passing along your appreciation of others. (In the past as you mention.)
I’ve found that the more that I’ve shared my appreciation, the more good that comes to me. (I don’t show my thanks simply to get more back, it’s just an added benefit that I’ve started to see.) Plus I feel good about myself when I say thanks or go out of my way to help another.
I hope you find unexpected delights in this process/goal. (And you know where you can find tips! (ha ha).
PS – I have enjoyed your blog since finding it. Keep up the good work!
