Hello Fall!

Hello Lovelies,

It is officially fall and I can’t wait to bust out my scarves and mittens! The weather here started out a bit wet but has turned into a sunny, chilled fall. For now I am able to bundle up and still take walks without the fear of bone-chilling rain.

Fall is the time of leggings, scarves, cute hats, and adorable jackets. As summer comes to an end I begin the ritual of pulling out my jackets and boots and prepping them for some frequent use. As the jackets come out the tank tops and shorts get put into storage until the next clothing cycle happens.

This fall I hope to wear more layered looks specifically more shirts with my dresses. I love the trend of layering a shirt under a dress because it not only gives you a new look but it also keeps you warmer! I have many dresses without sleeves and this is a perfect way to transition them into fall and winter.

In addition to all of these spectacular reasons to try out the layered shirt and dress look, I also tend to over-wear dresses and this will be a good way to mix them up. By throwing a shirt on under a dress you achieve a different look and breathe new life into the outfit.
